Security
Meetup
Welcome to Security Meetup
Security Meetup began as small, informal meetups in the Swedish city of Gothenburg, and has now grown into a platform where the entire cybersecurity community can connect, collaborate, and learn from one another.
The meetups still take place every other month, now accompanied by The Podium – a community-driven blog – and Sessions, an upcoming space for live, online events where members of the community can share their knowledge and experiences with others. And of course, a Discord channel for the casual conversations and daily chitchat. 🙌
Security Meetup is not here to replace any of the fantastic initiatives already out there. Instead, it exists as a meeting ground where they can connect, collaborate, and strengthen one another – a bridge, or glue, holding the community together.
It’s a place for everyone: individuals and organizations alike. Students and seniors, professionals and hobbyists, companies, associations, and public actors. A platform where people come together, where knowledge can spread further, and where our community as a whole becomes stronger.
And at its core, it’s also about creating relaxed, welcoming meetups where people from all corners of cybersecurity can simply meet, talk, and enjoy each other’s company. 🥰
Welcome to Security Meetup.
Where conversations spark connection.
Every other month, we meet up to connect, share experiences, and build the community from the ground up.
Where the community finds its voice.
The Podium is our community blog, written by and for those shaping the future of cybersecurity.
Where knowledge is shared.
Sessions is an upcoming stage for live learning – where anyone can share knowledge, spark ideas, and grow together through streamed, hands-on talks and demos.
Friends of security meetup
Friends of Security Meetup is not a list of sponsors, nor formal partners.
It’s simply a place where we highlight other amazing communities, initiatives, and organizations that contribute to strengthening cybersecurity, the community – or both – to make them more visible and easier for all to find.
